On March 8, “English Corner for Adults” in Jiuhua Residential Community, initiated by Zhang Man, a post-80s volunteer from METEN, attracted many young residents to learn and practice spoken English.
The English corner is aimed at providing lessons for young residents who wish to improve English and for the elders who want to be free from language barriers when traveling in foreign countries. And Zhang Man and her colleagues plan to teach free classes on Sundays.
