Zhu Wenlin, a successful and public-minded private entrepreneur, got to know the Rhododendron Assistance Alliance and became its member in 2009.

With one-to-one supporting model, the alliance is founded to help needy students of poverty-stricken areas in Weng’an County, Guizhou province, to finish their study.
In July 2012, Zhu Wenlin donated 135,000 yuan to Weng’an Tianwen Middle School to purchase computers, desks and chairs.
Within 6 years, he subsidized 4 students till they entered college and asked his daughter, Zhu Limin, to take care of remittance on the tenth day of every month.
In the year 2014, Zhu Wenlin organized members to pay a visit to Weng’an to send subsidies to 15 students in need of colleague tuition.
“Having more ability means shouldering more responsibility,” he said. He believes what he has done is insignificant and wishes that mutual help would be advocated in society through continuous efforts so as to help more needy students.
